The B&B sets on top of a hill surrounded by forest and looks down into the valley. The owner has two alpacas (similar to lamas); which she shaves yearly, dies the wool, and turns it into yarn then weaves into clothes. The little towns are wonderful. The buildings are old, the people are friendly, and the food is very good and cheap. Two nights in a row we stuffed ourselves for under $20—and that included smoked salmon.
