It's early October and it's vacation time in the Great Northwest. Two days of wine tasting in the Willamette Valley, two days of exploring Seattle and hiking Mt. St. Helen's, a long hike along Cannon Beach followed by a tour of the Tillamook Cheese Factory, all mixed with 5 more days exploring Portland and Mt. Hood. In other words, 10 days of hiking, eating, and drinking.
